Marketing – How to capitalise on this potentially powerful marketing device, drawing on the experience of both developers
and users. We are fortunate to be joined by two local business people who have extensive knowledge in this area. Fin Carson
of CMS has many years experience of designing effective, internet based, marketing strategies and has extensive knowledge
regarding key areas such as the structure, design, ergonomics and optimisation of web sites. Helen Fenby of Cream o' Galloway,
a local company which not only plays a major role in the local economy but also markets it's products internationally, will
talk about the importance of internet marketing in the promotion of the company's products and activities.

Finlay is a director of CMS, a locally based IT firm which started trading 20 years ago primarily to
the agricultural sector. The nine employee team now provide IT services, including support services, hardware, software,
networking, website and database design to large and small companies across the country.

trends in web design and website promotion producing sites for a broad range of clients across Dumfries and Galloway and beyond,

About Helen Fenby
Helen Fenby is the Visitor Centre Manager at one of Galloway's leading attractions, the Cream
o' Galloway, a post she has held since 2002. She is responsible for more than 40 staff, both
seasonal and full time at Cream o' Galloway which attracts more than 70,000 visitors every year. Prior
to joining Cream o' Galloway, she worked at a major Millennium visitor attraction in Leicestershire.
